Summer outfits, Spanish beaches

Hi guys!

I hope you are doing well and you are enjoying the last bits of summer this year.

One of the things I miss the most in London is walking by the seaside in a quiet empty place, where the only sound I can hear is the one of the waves crashing on the shore.

I grew up in Castellon, a small Spanish city located by the seaside, close to Valencia. As some of you know, the beach is one of my favourite places to go to in the world ever since I was a little kid! I just really enjoy being there. Isn’t it the perfect place to turn off the office mode?

This year, I decided to spend a week in Spain to see my friends and family and also to visit my favourite blue place. I missed having long walks on the sand, watching shooting stars at night while I lie down on the sand with my friends and, of course, I missed those typical summery refreshing baths accompanied by ice creams by the end of the day.

As I am planning to walk you through my hometown in a different post, today I would like to let you know a bit more about my reencounter with my beloved beach and what I decided to wear on this special occasion.

I believe there are three basic summer outfits for the beach and I packed all three of them.

Outfit #1

A white boohoo dress is an it item for a day in the beach. I love this outfit: the flounces and the open back give the look a feminine, summery yet careless touch.

Bikini – Topshop

Outfit #2

Summer beach blouses are a must if you are planning to spend your holidays near the shore. There are many varieties, colours, shapes and options so I would recommend you to find a blouse that matches your style and personality.

As a girl with Moroccan origins that I am, I found in this blouse my perfect definition. Blue is my favourite colour, mood and place. The Moroccan details all over the back, front and sleeves give that exotic touch of colour.

The best shoes to accompany this look would be this year’s trendy mules, slip-on sandals, or a nice pair of platform sandals as the ones I decided to take with me.

Outfit #3

Sometimes keeping it simple is the best solution in order to find a balance between comfort and  versatility.

As blue and white are the key trendy colour combination for this summer, I found this kimono very appropriate for this very special occasion. I love the exotic blue print in it as well as the white lace details on the back. What do you think about it?
