My special spots – Looking back

Happy Friday to you all!

I hope you had a nice week and I also hope you are making great plans for the weekend ahead!

Although my goal was to share a post with you every Wednesday, this week I have caught a very tricky cold. Autumn is officially happening in London and most of my friends and I have already received the official invitation for the cold season. Sorry for being missing, to the very few of you who read this.

With a bit of delay, here comes the post for this week! This is going to be my last post from Spain. From now on you will start seeing more of London and (very possibly other countries)!  I have many special things planned for you…

But first thing’s first! Today I would like to share with you a very personal side of me with one of the most versatile dresses in my closet. I feel it does not only blend with almost every situation if you match it with the right pair of shoes, accessories and outwear; but I also find the off the shoulders cut and the flounce very feminine and youthful. The white details stylize my tan skin and it creates a nice contrast.

It’s been one and a half years since I moved out of my hometown, Castellon. Whenever I fly back, I like visiting those little places where I have so many cherished memories. Walking down the streets makes me think of how much I have changed in such short period of time living abroad and how everything in there still remain s the same. I am suspecting some sort of wizard pauses time whenever I leave for me to find everything as it was.

I can’t help smiling whenever I surround myself of those very familiar places, little street and faces. I remember having coffee on this very spot with my best friend and spending hours and hours just talking and sharing all we had in our minds.

As happens with every one of us who once moved out, whenever we take a flight, back we can’t help but feeling different although our surroundings remain the same. You magically became a more independent, strong and confident person.

Time does not stop for us but we can always find a way to travel back if we need to, and have a lovely pause whenever we fancy.

Do you have a special place where you hit the “Pause” mode? Let me know in the comments!

You describe really well how I felt when returning to my home town in Germany. Everything seemed to be the same even though I do notice that little things have changed. However I feel like I’ve grown so much faster during my time in London. Moving to a city without knowing many people, to an area I had never visited before, etc. I feel like a different person and like nothing here really changed except for me. Cant wait to visit London soon!
