Christmas & New Year – Where have I been hiding?

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas season!

This was my first year celebrating Christmas as such in London (with all the excitement of opening gifts included!). I have also had the opportunity to say hello to Santa in Finland when I visited his house in the Arctic Circle a couple of weeks ago. It was such an exciting experience! (Small sneak peek: travel vlog is coming up soon!!)

I have to say, this year’s December has been very different from the ones before by far. It has been my most special month in 2016 and probably the most special one over my twenties.

I have travelled to France (Munot and Macon), Spain and Finland. I have seen my favourite bands performing. I have visited my favourite places in London. I have not said “no” to chocolate (pinky promise). I have read new books. I have celebrated my birthday with my friends in London. I have tried new flavours and experiences and, most importantly, I have surrounded myself with the people I care about the most in order to bring a feeling of pause and order into my chaotic and busy life in the city.

Perhaps, I took my latest post about getting lost to the letter. And it actually did very well to me. I could not feel any better about this Christmas season!

Now, being back in London feels like being back “home”, back to work, to the routine, to the city lights and to those special places I like to go to.

Today I would like to share with you one of my favourite Christmas outfits this year. I picked this outfit of the day for December this year as I find it very elegant and versatile. I must confess, I completely fell in love with those heels the moment I saw them at the store window. I feel so confident yet powerful walking on them.

Of course, I had to combine them with these elegant matching trousers, a warm and plain Christmas jumper and a leather jacket matching my -beloved- shoes.

Leather jacket – Mango (old)

[MTS tip: Feel free to change it for a long black military coat, it will also work for similar looks!]

Jumper – New Look

Trousers – Zara

Heels – Zara

Choker – Zara

December has brought me energy and new ideas for the blog I look forward to sharing with you. I have many new projects in mind for this upcoming year. And I am so excited by all of them!

What do you enjoy the most about Christmas season in your city? Let me know in the comments! I would really like to know and I look forward to reading you.

Thanks for reading me today and I wish you a happy New Year celebration!

Special thanks to Declan for all these wonderful photographs.

Ahhh Fatima! Those heels are FIRE haha! They look soo good! I think I might need to check out Zara soon to see if they are still selling them. Loved this blog post again, must be good being back to London after traveling so much. I really like returning and feel so in love every time I come back there.
Can’t wait to move back and spend many days at coffee shops with you! <3
