Spring look | Casual in the city
It all happened very quickly: I quit my toxic job, I flew to Istanbul, I spent a week in Spain, I started a new job and I moved in to a new flat. All of this happened in a record time of 1 month. I do genuinely look forward to sharing about this process with you on the blog as soon as I settle down and I go back to my one post per week routine.
With all the packing and the changes, I have just finally managed to give myself a little two hours break at the new flat, while I am enjoying a very inspiring view of London from my new living room with a hot chocolate.
Although the clouds and the rain like to keep us company, it is officially spring in London. And despite of my adventurous -and quite restless month- I couldn’t help but notice floral dresses, leather jackets and colourful spring sandals are starting to take over the busy streets of central London.
I wore this spring outfit for a dinner date in Istanbul a few days ago. I knew I had to photograph it and add it to Mind the Shoes’ spring lookbook collection as soon as I was back home.
As some of you know, I love playing with feminine details as much as I do love playing with contrasts. This look’s foundation is a classy bow shirt and a flounced mini skirt. These two pieces have been matched with a biker leather jacket and leather boots. I like how both styles merged together so well creating a cute and classy look.
Now, the cherry to the cake is the leather hat that gives the whole look the casual, funny and easy going touch that defines my personality so very well. Altogether, I find it very cute and classy. How do you feel about it?
