The absolute must have for this fall season

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a great week so far!

Checked blazers have become a must have this autumn: there is not a time I’m scrolling through Instagram and I don’t see at least one blogger wearing the classic topper. Celebrities such as Cara Delevingne, Kourtney Kardashian and Bella Hadid have decided to embrace this trend and have, indeed, been spotted with this fall’s must have piece.

A little pause

Hi everyone,

How are you? I hope you are having a nice week so far!

I have so much to share with you this month, especially after reorganizing my photo-shoots and spending an entire weekend taking photographs of Rome.

So far, November seems to be a happy month, full of inspiration. And if I’m being completely honest with you, it has been an exhausting month too. I have travelled, I have been studying quite a lot, I kept working at my full time job, I’ve been working on Mind the Shoes’ side projects and, of course, I had my sister visiting for a week.

I needed to take a little break this week, have a rest and enjoy some London alone time. (By the way, have you ever thought of going to the cinema on your complete own? I feel like dating the city, just like Carrie Bradshaw did in Sex and the City.)

Today’s about a very basic outfit I wore for a Sunday brunch in South Kensington, about two weeks ago.

Autumn outfit of the day inspiration

Hello my beautiful people,

I hope you are having a nice week so far!

A lot has happened since Halloween: I just came back from a visit to Rome which I will be sharing with you next week (can’t wait!), I have a special guest visiting London for the next few days and I am working on a couple of small projects on the side for the blog. Sadly, my hands -and time- are a little bit tied up these days. I wish my days were longer or, at least, I wish my weekends lasted a bit longer (let’s say 3 days, is it a lot to ask?).

With my running up and down to strike every item of my daily to-do lists, and in order to save myself some time, I have created a small fall look book: a turquoise mole skin sketch book where I draw all of my outfit ideas and plan my closet per season for the blog.

Happy Halloween – Kitchen fun

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re having a nice week so far.

The full Halloween video is finally ready and I couldn’t wait to share it with you!

As with every special occasion, I decided to film something for YouTube to celebrate this festivity with you.

I wanted to film something with him basically since the day we met, and it’s finally happened! I hope you have as much fun with him as I did. Please, let us know what you think in the comments below. We’ll be happy to read you. Don’t forget to show us your warm support by sharing and subscribing to the channel!

Thanks so much for reading me and for your support.

Yours sincerely,

Fatima

A day in the life of a starting fashion blogger

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a nice week so far!

Today I will be sharing with you my blogging routine. I am not quite sure my friends, family, workmates and you, who are reading this, know what are the must tasks for every starter blogger to do every week in order to keep her/his blog going. Please, note I have been doing this for a year and I am not a senior expert. I keep learning every day and on the go and my routine is build based on my personal blogging experience.

Hello Canterbury!

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all having a nice week so far.

When I was still at university, living my -really- nerdy student life, I remember a friend from the Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences told me “leisure is also a human need”. For some reason, those words stuck in my head ever since. I suppose, especially because I used to be under a lot of pressure to obtain a yearly scholarship. Sometimes, I forgot how did it feel to have fun and escape reality. Even now, sometimes I forget how important it is to take a pause.

Happy one year

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a nice week so far!

Many thanks for supporting me and for all the reads I had on the blog over the past few posts. It seems that we are growing here. How exciting is that?!

Those who follow my IG stories already know, but for those of you who don’t, this week Mind the Shoes is becoming 1 year old.

Blogging is one of the best things that’s happened to me so far this year and I feel really thankful and blessed for it.

About being a real badass

Hi everyone!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far.

This is my first weekend posting on the blog. After the unexpected popularity of my latest blog post, I am quite excited about posting twice a week, and I look forward to do this more often. Let’s give it a try and see if we can make it work together, you and I.

Recently, I found myself reading “You are an awesome badass” by Jen Sincero, for the third time. Before you start judging me by the title of the book, I would like to clarify the below:

Dans le noir – Dining in the dark

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re having a nice week so far!

I once met a stranger who was moving to Australia in just a few months. Since I can’t stop my imagination and impulsivity, the first reaction I had was building up a list of things I could do with a stranger in London to make the most of the city before my new stranger friend moved away.

Sadly, we never made it. But I kept the list, and being as stubborn as I am, I continued striking items out of it. This post corresponds to the episode of “dining in the dark”, which would be item number 3 of my list.
