Happy one year

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a nice week so far!

Many thanks for supporting me and for all the reads I had on the blog over the past few posts. It seems that we are growing here. How exciting is that?!

Those who follow my IG stories already know, but for those of you who don’t, this week Mind the Shoes is becoming 1 year old.

Blogging is one of the best things that’s happened to me so far this year and I feel really thankful and blessed for it.

Outfit of the day – Palazzo trousers

How are you? I hope you are having a nice week so far!

While I am still enjoying my warm holidays away from what I now call home, I am working on my personal closet. A task that makes me –REALLY- excited. I genuinely feel like kid playing Legos.

When spring begins, I like to give a fresh update to my closet. I start looking for new inspiration and ideas to repopulate it. I love reading fashion blogs to find new ideas, explore every single Fashion Week catwalk from the Vogue Runaway app, read magazines and nose around my favourite online stores every now and then… I love to travel in order to get fresh and new inspiration from the way people from different cultures dress up and express themselves. Even art galleries and music can strongly influence my closet selection.

I start rebuilding and adapting my dressing up code and style according to my personal taste and to my humble fashion freshly new acquired knowledge.

I am sharing with you the outfit from my previous blog post hoping that you might find some inspiration when you feel like you want to add a small change to your closet or you simply are looking for new ideas to dress up!

Feeling lost in Camden Town

Hi everyone!

I hope you are having a nice week so far.

Today’s post is quite special. To be honest with you, I have been giving it some thought and I kept the photographs for two months until I found the right time and place to share them with you.

As I have been traveling for the past few weeks, I encountered many lost souls –including myself– on my adventures journey. Beautiful people with a feeling of drift alongside, with no directions defined.

I believe, at some point, we all feel lost in life. And all of us, at some point feel desperate for a life guide book or a sign –anything, really– that shows us what is our next step in life.

Outfit of the day with my favourite fall trend

Hi everyone!

I hope you are having a nice week so far!

I am back in London full of energy and excitement to share with you one of my favourite fall trends for 2016.

I would love to dedicate a whole new blog post to disclose and discuss with you all the trends in London for this fall/winter once I finish my Europe trips. For those of you who don’t know about it, I will be travelling to France, Spain and Finland in the next few weeks. And I am so excited about it!

In the meanwhile, I would love to give you a small sneak peak by sharing my favourite fall trend for this year 2016: plaid skirts.

My special spots – Looking back

Happy Friday to you all!

I hope you had a nice week and I also hope you are making great plans for the weekend ahead!

Although my goal was to share a post with you every Wednesday, this week I have caught a very tricky cold. Autumn is officially happening in London and most of my friends and I have already received the official invitation for the cold season. Sorry for being missing, to the very few of you who read this.

With a bit of delay, here comes the post for this week! This is going to be my last post from Spain. From now on you will start seeing more of London and (very possibly other countries)!  I have many special things planned for you…

But first thing’s first! Today I would like to share with you a very personal side of me with one of the most versatile dresses in my closet. I feel it does not only blend with almost every situation if you match it with the right pair of shoes, accessories and outwear; but I also find the off the shoulders cut and the flounce very feminine and youthful. The white details stylize my tan skin and it creates a nice contrast.
